  1. 5:19 are you sure tik Tok is more popular than youtube? I know tik Tok is very popular and I do occasionally log on to that and post there as well, but I spend considerably a lot more time on YouTube. Probably like 100 times more time on YouTube compared to tik Tok

  2. 4:25 how could they finally be sounding the alarm now though? Japanese car brands like Toyota and Nissan and Honda are hugely popular in the US and they weren't worried back when those cars started really taking a ton of the market share?

  3. Trump destroyed American brands. The boycott is spreading. And TikTok users–who tend to be young–are pro-China, anti-American, they won't go near anything related to Meta.

  4. there are some mistakes in the video like Chinese gov banned Google and Facebook, its untrue, they left because did not want to obey Chinese law. In contrast, TK follows the regulations to store all data inside the US datacenter still in the risk due to it has a Chinese mother company

  5. It is disinformation to say that UTube, Facebook, Instagram are banned in China. Those companies refused to abide by the rules of China in order to operate in China. That is not a ban but a refusal by these companies to operate in China because they of that.

  6. as due to trumps hostile behavior towards Europe and other allies, it is now lesser an issue to buy Chinese stuff instead of US stuff. Destroying a reputation can go fast, building it back up takes decades.

  7. yo espero que estados unidos su economia caiga porque con lo que estan haciendo no dan ganas de comprar nada de ese pais.

  8. the claim that China ban US company in China is false. facebook was block after they fail to surrender data about a terrorist attack that was plan on facebook group. google left the market after they were caught stealing IP from other company to avoid further PR damage. microsoft and apple web services continues to operate in China having comply with Chinese law.

  9. Correction: US based social media’s are not banned in China, if the likes of Google, Meta, etc, do what TikTok is doing i.e. compliant with China regulatory and laws and move their Chinese users DB to China, then they can operate just like TikTok is, but no right, US Govt and Media are so bloody obsessed with China, while China has moved on and focused on the Global South markets. It’s just laughable to us in the global south to see what Americans are doing shooting themselves on their foot.
